December was a very busy period for us at JARE ATP with World Media Rights spending a number of days filming scenes for the famous Lufthansa Flight 181 Hi-Jacking in 1977 when the aircraft was finally stormed on the runway at Mogadishu by the German GSG9 Special Forces using our B737 aircraft.
Many visitors to the JARE ATP Aviation Centre were a little alarmed at the realism of what was going on especially when actors were taking a break from filming whilst still fully ‘kitted up’ in their combat gear.
Look out for the WMR production in 2014 on Yesterday and other similar TV channels.
